Renowned artist 금 국 향 headline performance

"To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Carassaga, the Korean Pavilion has invited a well renowned artist with over 30 years of experience from Korea. Korean traditional artist 금 국 향 (GookHyang Geum) and her team of 15 dancers specialize in opera style performances that incorporate elements of storytelling, music and dance. This year, Geum group has generously agreed to perform one of Korea’s classic love story called

“the tale of ChunHyang”.

In addition to the Korean traditional opera performance, the Korean Pavilion will showcase many more breathtaking presentations. One of the most highly anticipated pieces is by Mr. SeungGoo Won and his team of 30 artists who will perform a masterpiece of “Samulnori” which is Korean traditional percussion music. This performance will involve Korea’s traditional musical instruments such as Kkwaenggwari, Jing, Janggu and Buk.
