You're the Target

I had a comment from one of our sponsors asking “Who is your target market?” They recommended that we focus on a certain group so that we can pull a wider audience to our social sites. My question to that would be “Then how would that be reflective of a complete country?”

We’re programmed at an early age to classify, categorize, dissect and rank. In this membership we received no resumes and quite frankly those who had offered didn’t prove to make any impact.

As this is a Korean Pavilion, we need all people of all walks of life to tell the whole story and as we attract diversified ethnicities to our membership, isn’t this story about inclusion in the truest sense and form? It’s an immigrant’s story about identity, and the wonderful and unique mosaic of Canada. It’s a forum to learn, engage and befriend because as much as we’re all different, we need to see the sameness to bring it together. We need learners and believers.
